Magnificent fishing lodge just a few strides from the famous River Beauly

Sitting right on the edge of the River Beauly, this traditional fishing lodge is luxurious and atmospheric. Built to a traditional design and completely wood lined, the lodge exudes old-world charm but has contemporary comforts.

The main room is huge and combines the sitting room, dining room and kitchen, allowing everyone to socialise together around a tremendous raised log fire, and ensuring the cook isn't left out of the fun. Sofas are deep and accommodating, and the dining area is elegant yet functional.

All bedrooms have their own en suite bath/shower room, and there is accommodation (sitting room, bedroom and shower room) for a cook. This can be used by tenants if required, although it is more simply furnished than the other rooms in the house.

Large patio doors open onto a spacious decked area, which affords magnificent views upriver to the dramatic Beaufort Castle. Dining on this deck, with the Beauly flowing past wide and deep, will be one of the lasting memories of a holiday at this lodge.

There is a path alongside the river giving access to several miles of riverbank walking, and the area is renowned for its beauty and access to the wilder parts of the Scottish Highlands.

Beauly, with its shops and visitor attractions, is just a short drive from the lodge, and Inverness is a 20-minute drive along the south side of the Beauly Firth, so access to an airport is quick and easy.

Fishing:
Several 5-rod weeks and a few 2-rod weeks are available between May and September. The fishing is immediately in front of the house and a boat is available.

Other fishing on the Beauly, not quite so close, can also be arranged at other times.

The rod room is spacious and well equipped with freezers for sterilising equipment, and ample rod and gear hanging space.
