One of two holiday houses situated close by each other, Deeside Cottage has been renovated and refurbished to provide self-catering accommodation for up to eight people.
This beautiful conversion has great character, and is situated in a most tranquil and private setting offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains, whilst being close to all the conveniences of the attractive, well-known village of Braemar: in September the famous Braemar Gathering is attended by visitors from all over the world.
This spacious house is ideal for families or friends sharing a holiday, or just for those who require more space than the average holiday cottage. Deeside Cottage has a welcoming mixture of traditional furnishings combined with new and high quality fittings; the rooms are generously sized and are all on one level, apart from the master bedroom with en suite, which is upstairs.
The area is at the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park and is perfect for enjoying a wide variety of activities, from historic castle visits and touring through the magnificent Deeside scenery to many outdoor activities for the more energetic: walking, skiing, golfing and fishing are all within close range. The area is also rich in wildlife and deer and red squirrels are regularly seen from the cottage.
The picturesque villages of Braemar, Ballater and Aboyne are ideal for a little gentle shopping in the many unusual gift shops and galleries, and most of the restaurants remain open year round.
