Situated close to the shore of Loch Fyne and with tremendous views south-west and down the loch, Cuil Cottage is the perfect retreat in one of the most popular areas of the west coast.
This refurbished and renovated cottage offers quality and comfort in traditional surroundings, and although perfectly warmed by modern storage heaters, the wood burning stove adds to its charm.
All furnishings have been chosen to blend well and to offer a home-from-home experience so that you will always look forward to returning to your holiday cottage after a day exploring this beautiful area of Scotland.
There is a whole range of walking days to be enjoyed from Minard, from the green lower-lying hills, extensive coastlines and inlets, to the more majestic mountains to the north and east. All levels of walkers will find something to tempt them, and even Glencoe is within reach for a good day's climbing. From the head of the loch, the road takes you into the Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park - a haven for mountaineers and hill walkers.
Loch Fyne is a long sea loch that eventually opens out into the Sound of Bute - an area frequented by kayakers and canoeists.
With plenty of good restaurants and cafés in a radius of 15 miles, it is possible to eat out at any time, whether you require a 4-course dinner or a cream tea.
Minard is only an hour and a half drive from Glasgow airport - a journey which takes you up the shores of the famous and picturesque Loch Lomond.
